How Can A Christian Deal With Besetting Sins?

I was awakened this morning very early with the Mount of Olives on my mind. Strange huh?  I thought so.  I don't normally think in these terms, this is my husband's department!  A friend of mine used to say, "you become like the company you keep".  Anyway... Olivet is made up of four peaks, Mount of Galilee, Mount of Ascension, Mount of the Prophets, and Mount of Corruption (Solomon's groves)  and is situated on the east side of Jerusalem outside of the Eastern Gate just beyond the Kidron Valley.  Now when Jesus returns to this earth the Bible says He is going to descend onto the Mt. of Olives and that when His feet touch that mountain, it will give way and split in two.  (Zechariah 14:4) Can you just imagine that Mount of Corruption giving way beneath the almighty weight of His glory!  Oh My!  Lift up ye heads oh ye gates, and be ye lifted up ye everlasting doors and the King of Glory will come in!.  But listen to this!  Remem...

Blessed Are The #Unoffended !

Have you noticed that we live in an offended world? People are defensive and constantly offended. Suing each other at the drop of a hat. Not speaking for years at a time. I lived an offended life for a long time. Over the years different things in my life and in the ministry had caused great offense to build up in my life. One day the Lord said to me... your bo dy is breaking down because of offense! What? I'm not offended Lord! I had lived with my offense for so long it had become part of my being and it was eating away at my spirit, my mind and my body. Slowly killing me and I was totally unaware that it had gotten "that bad". I guess I had become the proverbial frog in boiling water and had it not been for His great mercy and compassion I would have eventually died a bitter, unhappy, offended "Christian". He said to me.
